The Chamber was proud to join community members in celebrating the ribbon cutting for Core Care’s new Sea Level clinic at 458 Hwy 70. The event drew a full house as leaders from Core Care, Carteret Health Care, and Carteret County marked the transition of primary care services in eastern Carteret.
Dr. Ramesh Krishnaraj (Dr. K) shared that he grew up in a small fishing village in India where his father served as a local doctor. Today, with his father by his side, Dr. K continues that tradition of community care in a small fishing village here on the Crystal Coast.
The new clinic will offer a full spectrum of primary and preventive care, chronic disease management, urgent walk-in visits, and behavioral health support. Expanded hours and services—including wellness programs, cosmetic medicine, and IV therapies—are also planned. An on-site pharmacy, still operated by Carteret Health Care, will remain available to support patient needs.
This transition represents a partnership effort to expand access to healthcare Down East while honoring the long-standing service of Carteret Health Care.
